Star Plus’ upcoming periodic fantasy, tentatively titled ‘The King’s Daughters’ produced by Peninsula Pictures has indeed grabbed the spotlight in the last few weeks for its interesting cast.
IndianWikiMedia.com had earlier exclusively reported about talented actress Mouli Ganguly playing a crucial role in the show. However, we have now got to learn that things did not eventually work out for Mouli.
Actress Aparna Kumar who has done movies like Rok Sako Toh Roklo, Yuvraaaj etc has now been roped in for the role. Aparna has also been seen on TV in shows like Main Lakshmi Tere Angann Ki.
As per sources, “The character of Madhumalli will be crucial to the story line. She will be the mother of the lead Harshad Arora.”
We buzzed Aparna, but could not get through to her.
We contacted Mouli who said, “Yes, I was talking for the said role. However, things did not work out eventually. Let’s see what excites me next.”
We also buzzed Producer Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez, but they remained out of reach.
As reported by IndianWikiMedia, the show has Harshad Arora, Vaani Sood, Neha Solanki in lead roles. The huge cast also includes Shakti Anand, Monaz Mevawalla, Preet Kaur, Gracy Goswami, Ankit Gupta, Mamik Singh, Divya Bhatnagar in prime roles.
