A news presenter or an anchor is a person who gathers the information and delivers or communicates the news or spreads awareness among the masses. An anchor has the power to influence the thoughts of people similar to their mindset. A good anchor is someone who communicates authentic news in such a way that the listener or audience doesn’t just listen to listen but also understands and sticks to the speaker.
While talking about news anchors there are 2 major anchors of primetime i.e. Arnab Goswami and Sudhir Chaudhary.
Arnab Goswami is the managing director and editor-in-chief of Republic Media Network. He operates three channels namely Republic TV in English, Republic Bharat in Hindi, and Republic Bangla in Bengali.
He not only binds the audience but also provides authentic news. He has also written a book on Combating Terrorism. He has worked in many other recognized media channels. He has a major fan following of Hindus (religious community in India) as he speaks majorly in favor of Hindus.
Sudhir Choudhary is also an Indian journalist. He is the editor-in-chief and CEO of Zee News, WION, Zee 24 taas, Zee business. He is the host of the primetime show Daily News and Analysis (DNA). It is one of the most-watched primetime shows. People watch him because of the authenticity and in detail presentation of the news. He belongs to the first generation of television journalists. He has also faced many legal issues which hampered his work. He has won Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism in the “Hindi Broadcast” category for 2013.
