Bengali actress Arunima Halder, currently essaying the lead role in “Kajol Nodir Jole,” has been battling jaundice since Durga Puja. However, her illness hasn’t deterred her from continuing work on the series.
According to sources close to the production, Arunima has chosen not to take a break from filming, instead opting to work while adhering to her doctor’s strict guidelines. The actress’s commitment to her role has impressed the team.
Arunima revealed to ETimes that her health issues began with a high fever during Durga Puja, forcing her to spend most of the festivities in bed. Subsequent severe body pains led to a jaundice diagnosis, with doctors advising two weeks of complete rest for a full recovery.
Undeterred, Arunima has adopted precautionary measures to ensure her health doesn’t compromise her work. She carries homemade food to avoid outside meals, as advised by her doctors, and her mother is constantly by her side on set to monitor her well-being.
To avoid exertion, Arunima shoots without taking breaks, pacing herself to minimize stress on her body.
