Veteran actress Asha Sharma will enter the popular and long-running show, Kumkum Bhagya produced by Balaji Telefilms.
She will go on to play the role of Swarni, earlier essayed by actress Radha Israni. Radha who was very effectively playing the role has had a lingering knee problem which requires surgery. And this prompted the makers to work out a replacement.
News coming in is that Asha Sharma who has had a vast career in films and TV will make join the cast of Kumkum Bhagya.
As per the plot, this Dadi has been one of the closest friends of the main family.
