Akshay Singh is an engineering graduate (electronics) and is a writer cum director. He is also the Creative Director on Savdhan India, one of the successful shows of Fireworks Productions. Earlier he was directing Shapath which ran for about 5 years.
For the uninitiated, B.P. Singh in partnership with Pradeep Uppoor and their company Fireworks Productions. have been giving Indian Television viewers some entertaining and interesting programming for the last 22 years.
Akshay Singh’s new company, Fiction Factory will produce its first show in an upcoming cop drama for Star Bharat.
Tentatively titled ‘Chase – Marte Dam Tak’, the show will dwell into the lives of five cops and will present a cop-mystery-drama in a very unusual, never-seen-before way.
We hear that the biggest mystery and USP of the show will be a 12 years old character called ‘Zero’.
A credible source told us, “There is a huge secret behind the presence of a 12 years old character in the cop show. However, the secret is presently being guarded very well.”
IndianWikiMedia.com gives our readers information on the cast.
Popular Bollywood and Marathi actor Deepak Shirke who has starred in more than 150 Bollywood movies will be one of the lead faces of the show. Some of the movies to his credit include Agneepath, Hum Khuda Gawah, Rakshak, Judwaa.
As per sources, “Deepak Shirke will play the role of the retired ACP by name Jagraj, who would be a helping hand to the team of cops. Deepak will be the star attraction in the show, besides Zero.”
As reported by media, actor Fahad Ali and Splitsvilla 10 winner Divya Agarwal will play two other cops.
