Badho's dangal with Akhilesh Pandey highlights real definition of being a ‘man’

Mahasangams and maha-episodes are always exciting to watch! It’s entertainment galore when two popular shows and their contrasting worlds come together to create an entertainment fiesta on television. And, avid viewers of &TV’s Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Badho Bahu are about to experience just that. While Meri Hanikarak Biwi breaks all stereotypes by delving into a topic like nasbandhi that the Indian society continues to shy away from, Badho Bahu revolves around the 100kg bahu, Badho, who continues to undergo many trials and tribulations in an attempt to appease her wrestler husband.

Heightening the overall experience, the mahasangam episode will see Badho (Rytasha Rathore) make her way to Mumbai for training. Whilst in the city, she comes across Akhilesh (Karan Suchak). Challenged to a match of wrestling, Badho makes Akhilesh realise that being a man is not just about being a father. She brings to light that being a man, instead, is about facing challenges and problems in life with a more positive outlook. In fact, Badho will also make Ira (Jiyaa Shankar) understand about Akhilesh’s feelings towards her, nudging her to do something for him.

When asked about his fight with Badho, actor Karan Suchak said, “Shooting with Rytasha in her Badho avatar was an amazing experience. I know that she has recently shot for an entire wrestling sequence with Babita Phogat and it was incredible to see her in action! Since both of us are playing wrestlers in our respective shows, we shared our knowledge about the sport and gave each other some suggestions about how we can improve our performances.”

Adding to this, Rytasha said, “It was an interesting and fun experience shooting with Meri Hanikarak Biwi’s team. It is very different from Badho Bahu as the show is the dramedy genre. Everybody in team has a great comic timing and I really enjoyed doing the comic part.”

The Mahasangam episode between Badho Bahu and Meri Hanikarak Biwi will air on 11th January 2017 at 9.30 & 10.00 PM on &TV
