Beyhadh 2 to stream on web only: Upset Jennifer Winget to step down?

Jennifer's apparent refusal to be part of Beyhadh only on the web, see the show shutting down?

Sony TV show Beyhadh 2 to go off air 1

Jennifer Winget apparently is not very amused with the decision to make Beyhadh web-only show.

This Sony TV thriller failed to get the desired ratings ever since it replaced KBC late last year. The extremely low numbers also had put the show in the red quite early in its run.

Now, as per yet to be confirmed media reports, the channel has finally pulled the plug on this Prateek Sharma production. But the show also starring Shivin Narang and Ashish Choudhary will continue to stream on Sony LIV.

However, as per our source, Jennifer is unhappy with the shift. And as per industry chatter, she is charging a bomb for her TV appearances

Interestingly, Jennifer has just made her digital debut with ALT Balaji’s army show Code Red, along with alleged new beau Tanuj Virwani. Producer Samar Khan has hinted that season two should happen.

The low numbers of Behyadh had a downstream effect on the fortunes of Meri Dad Ki Dulhan and Tara from Satara respectively and their numbers went south.

We tried to get in touch with Jennifer, Sony top boss Danish Khan, and producer Prateek Sharma, but none reverted till the time of filing the article.
