Contestants Get To Interact With The Outside World: In the early years of Bigg Boss, the contestants didn’t really have any source of contact with the outside world. Now they have the option to speak to the audience through “caller of the week”. Not just that, they also get to meet their family, industry friends, and other celebrities. Previously, the only person to enter the house was a wild card entrant, but now we see so many promotions and celebrities entering the house and giving the contestants a hint of how the audience is perceiving them.
No Weekend Ka Vaar On Sunday: Weekend Ka Vaar is the most awaited day on Bigg Boss. Salman Khan pays a visit to the housemates and talks to them about their journey on the show. He scolds them and also praises them at times. While over the many seasons we have seen Salman connect with the contestants every Saturday and Sunday, this year, the Weekend Ka Vaar episode will air on Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm.
4 Bedrooms For The First Time: BB 16 house has four bedrooms for the first time ever in Bigg Boss history. Based on the circus theme, designed by Omung Kumar B and Vanita Omung Kumar, the four bedrooms are named the Fire Room, Black and White Room, Cards Room, and Vintage Room. The contestants have to compete in tasks to earn the bedrooms.
No Wake-Up Song: This year Bigg Boss broke the 15-year-old ritual by announcing that there will not be a wake-up song for the contestants after the first episode. All the contestants and a section of netizens were extremely disappointed as this used to be one of the best features of the show.
