Actress and winner of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, Shilpa Shinde has decided to jump in the election bandwagon.
Shilpa, who rose to fame playing the cult character of Angoori bhabhi in the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, later got embroiled in controvery for leaving the show on a bad note.
Later, she went on to win Bigg Boss show.
Now, she has chosen to take up politics and has joined the Congress Party. She announced her decision at an event in Mumbai.
With the recent Lok Sabha elections round the corner, whether she wil campaign for the party or would also contest as a candidate, only time will tell.
