Anupamaa the numero uno GEC show that airs on Star Plus is produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut. The last week’s major drama hovered around the sensitive issue of women being subjected to physical abuse at their workplaces. Kinjal (Nidhi Shah), the daughter-in-law of the Shah family was harrowed by her boss, which made her quit her job. Her family got to know of her problems and joined hands to get justice for Kinjal. Anupamaa’s (Rupali Ganguly) golden words wherein she inspired Kinjal to fight – she will see such a person in every office that she gets into and therefore has to fight, was inspirational!! The Shah family succeeded in exposing the boss. The week ended with happiness being reinstated in the family as they celebrated Independence Day in style, wherein there was a finesse display of unity in diversity!!
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the long-running Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut geared up for a celebratory affair over the last week with Rakshabandhan coming. The festival that upholds the pure bond of a brother and sister, saw Sirat and Naksh getting into a beautiful relationship, with the former tying Rakhi on the hands of the latter. Coming to the drama build-up, last week saw how dramatically close Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Sirat (Shivangi Joshi) were, in getting caught as they took the decisive plunge to get the medical report that could prove Sirat’s innocence. By the end of last week, Kartik and Sirat grabbed the proof and this called for celebration!!
Kundali Bhagya, the long-running show on Zee TV produced by Balaji Telefilms, had a wedding ambience gone wrong over the last week! Sonakshi and Rajat’s wedding turned out sour when it was revealed that Sonakshi (Mansi Srivastava) had an affair with Karan Luthra (Dheeraj Dhoopar) in the past, and the two of them also have a daughter. From dramatic sequences of Sonakshi’s emotional outburst to Karan denying the charge, the week was high on melodrama. This week will be very crucial, and audiences are eager to know the truth!!
Kumkum Bhagya, the Zee TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms saw Pragya (Sriti Jha) engulfed in sorrow with her image being torn apart. She has been accused of using rich men and marrying them, only to take away their properties. As Pragya stares at the darkness, Aliya proposed a plan, that to get back to her ex-husband Abhi in order to clear her image. Tanu who is now married to Pragya, wanted huge money in return for Abhi. Meanwhile, Aliya poisoned the mind of Abhi by telling him that it was Pragya who brought them to the road by taking over their property.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the long-running Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms saw Bhide and Dr Haathi joining hands to have a vaccination drive at Gokuldham Society. They announced the good news that while all in the society will get vaccinated, they welcomed others from the neighbourhood too to come and get themselves vaccinated. They also brought about an awareness that getting vaccinated was very essential. Bhide and Haathi also told that their society fund will help those who are not able to pay for the vaccine. Bapuji was seen making a generous donation for the vaccination drive. However, Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) who feared having injections, planned to go on a vacation on the same day, in order to avoid getting vaccinated.
Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, the popular &TV show produced by Edit II saw big drama over Vibhuti (Aashif Sheikh) needing a loan of Rs 5 lakhs. He became a slave of Tiwari (Rohitashv Gaud) and promised to remain so till he returned the money. Anita (Neha Pendse) got angry and questioned Tiwari on his act of making Vibhuti his slave. Tiwari went to the extent of misbehaving with Anita, as he was the landlord. Vibhuti had a fight with Tiwari over this. Vibhuti planned to seek revenge and he ended up abducting Angoori (Shubhangi Atre).
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi – Nayi Kahani the Sony TV show produced by Beyond Dreams saw Sonakshi being adamant and getting out of Dev’s house. However, soon she returned to take her children along with her. Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) however, talked it out between themselves and reached a solution that they will stay in the same house, but will live their life separately. They also promised to not show their differences in the open before kids and Ishwari. The week ended with Dev helping Sonakshi when she was in need, with her car facing a breakdown.
Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, the Star Plus show produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions saw the Desai family successfully getting back their property from Kanak. However, they landed themselves in another mess, with Radhika’s (Krutika Desai) return. She returned as part of the NGO team and has been staying in the Desai house, after Kanak filed a complaint for harassment at the hands of her family. Radhika created havoc in the Desai house, as she repeatedly tried to kill Kanak, so that the blame fell on the Desais. Also, Kanak posed a new problem by hiding Anant’s certificates when he was about to go for his job interview.
Imlie, the Star Plus show produced by Gul Khan’s 4 Lions Films for Star Plus saw a tough week with Malini (Mayuri Deshmukh) turning tables by gaining supremacy over Imlie (Sumbul Touqeer). Malini fought her battle openly with Imlie, but Imlie bagged the support of her mother Meethi. Imlie tried to tell Aditya (Gashmeer Mahajani) about Malini’s plan to separate them, but Aditya was not able to understand Malini’s game plan. While Aditya placed huge trust on Imlie, his bond of friendship with Malini too grew stronger.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the Star Plus show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment saw the return of Samrat (Yogendra Vikram Singh) into the Chavan household. His coming back was accompanied by a storm that opened the cover over a few of the relationships. He told his family about how his brother betrayed him and loved Pakhi (Aishwarya Sharma). Virat (Neil Bhatt) tried to explain, but Samrat had lost all trust in him. Sai (Ayesha Singh) got into the good books of Samrat and tried to tell him to talk it out with Pakhi.
Udaariyaan the Colors show produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment saw major drama with Tejo (Priyanka Choudhary) getting caught in a crazy act of a young guy, wherein her life was in danger. Tejo ultimately got shot, and Fateh (Ankit Gupta) had the scare of his life, when he carried a blood-soaked Tejo to the hospital. Tejo survived the scare, but this made Fateh repent his mistakes. He ended up breaking his love affair with Jasmine (Isha Malviya), by telling her that Tejo is too nice to be betrayed. However, Jasmine did not give up and threatened to tell Tejo the whole truth.
