Anupamaa, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week a big revelation with Choti Anu’s biological mother Maaya surfacing. She turned out to be the same lady who Anu met at her friend’s farmhouse. As we saw, Maaya had sent a few gifts for Anu and had promised to meet her during Makar Sankranti. And at the fair where Anuj and Anupamaa took Anu, Maaya arrived. Anu ran and embraced Maaya and this shook Anuj and Anupamaa. To their shock, she introduced herself as Anu’s real mother. She announced to them that she was back to take Anu along with her. Anuj and Anupamaa remained stunned and just could not react. This conversation of Maaya was overheard by Leela and Vanraj who were at the fair. They too were shocked and Vanraj asked Baa not to talk ill of Anupamaa and not to talk about the truth of Maaya with anyone. Later, Vanraj and Kavya had a rift when Vanraj tried to stop Kavya’s modelling career by not allowing her to go abroad for work purpose. Anuj found out that Maaya was the mother of Anu. Anu got tough to handle and wanted to meet Maaya. She even ran out of the house when Anuj and Anupamaa tried to control her. Finally when Anu was found on the road, Maaya was brought home by Anuj and Anupama. At home, Maaya ended up revealing the truth about her being Anu’s real mother before Anu. This truth shattered the little girl and she questioned as to why she had left her when she was a baby. Anuj and Anupamaa had a difference of opinion when Anupamaa understood Maaya’s pain as a mother. Anuj was totally scared of living a life without Anu. He stopped Anupamaa’s move but Anupamaa allowed Maaya to go inside Anu’s room and talk to her. Anu insisted that she needed both Anuj-Anupamaa as well as Maaya with her. This forced Anupamaa to strike a deal with Maaya.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week more of interactions between Abhimanyu and Akshara. Abhimanyu accompanied Abhinav and Akshara to the wedding where they got to know more about each other. Akshara got to know that a Shiv Bakht that Abhimanyu was, had now changed to a person not believing in God. Abhimanyu got to know that Akshara had stopped singing. Abhimanyu felt insecure in the presence of Abhinav and Akshara. However, Abhinav tried every effort possible to reveal his feelings before Akshara. He even faked a love story of theirs, which made Akshara jittery. Abhinav and Abhimanyu ended up drinking at the wedding, after which Abhimanyu was about to reveal the truth of his past before Abhinav. However, Akshara intervened at the last minute and managed to create a situation where Abhinav did not hear anything. Akshara asked Abhimanyu to get out of her life. Abhimanyu decided to leave Kasauli. On the other hand, Abhinav met with a road accident and was bleeding profusely. Akshara could not get any doctor as there was a strike of doctors on that day. Abeer who was terribly worried for his father, called and messaged Abhimanyu and asked him to come. Abhimanyu reached Akshara’s house and treated Abhinav. Abhimanyu saw the love that Abeer had for his father.
Kundali Bhagya, the Zee TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms saw big twists over the last week when Preeta got to know via the DNA report of Arjun being Karan. Later, Arjun came to the Luthra Mansion with a big condition for Preeta. He told her that she had to marry him in return for the Luthra Mansion. Finally, Preeta agreed to marry Arjun which made Rakhi happy. Arjun even called Rishabh and asked him to divorce Preeta. Preeta was sad that she had to take this decision and explained herself before Rishabh. Meanwhile, the kundalis of Arjun and Preeta matched and the date for the wedding got announced. Anjali did not want the marriage to happen. So she sought the help of Prithvi to stop the wedding. Rakhi got happy that Arjun was marrying Preeta. She gave her a jewel set and even told Preeta that she knew all along of Rishabh and Preeta being just friends.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms saw Taarak burning his favourite yellow shirt while ironing it. This lead to a big problem as he did not have any other yellow shirt. Taarak later took Dr Hathi’s yellow shirt and Anjali helped him alter it. But there was a problem post which Taarak decided to take Iyer’s yellow shirt. With Taara looking good in the shirt, all the society members wished Taarak all the luck for the big meeting. However, Taarak got involved in an accident and the yellow shirt got soiled. Jethalal got blamed for putting Taarak in a troubled situation. Bapuji later decided to meet Taarak’s boss and explain things to him. Taarak brought Bapuji to the office and all of them were shocked to see Taarak’s green shirt over there.
Udaariyaan, the Colors show produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment saw big drama in the Lohri event. Veronica got locked by Harleen in a room, and Advait too tried his best to stop Veronica’s moves. It came as a big shock to Nehmat and Advait when Shamsher made the big announcement during Lohri that Nehmat was pregnant with Advait’s child. This shattered the hopes of Veronica and resurrected the Kapoor image in front of media. However, Nehmat was deeply hurt by this fake announcement and after the party, she questioned Shamsher about it. Shamsher asked all to just play along and not argue with him. Advait could understand the pain that Nehmat went through and even fought with his father for the first time by siding Nehmat. In the room, Advait promised to try his best to take their relationship forward. Nehmat started noticing a sea change in Advait’s behaviour. Meanwhile, Naaz tried to brainwash Mallika by telling her that Advait still loves her and that she should take her rightful place. Harleen in the meanwhile, told the Sandhu family of being Jasmine’s daughter. Sandhus who got to know about Nehmat’s pregnancy were happy for her. Nehmat and Advait went for a dinner date, where Ekam and Harleen too came. Ekam drank a lot and created a scene at the restaurant which hurt Nehmat. Advait however, handled the situation well. Harleen took the side of Ekam and this shocked Advait. It got revealed that Jasmine had earlier got Harleen married to Advait.
Teri Meri Doriyaann, the Star Plus show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment saw major drama with Seerat getting impressed by Angad. The Brar family told her to come along with her parents to talk about their alliance. On the other hand, Garry tried to manipulate Seerat by telling her that he was the most influential person in the Brar family. During the Lohri event, Angad and Sahiba again got into a spot of bother. Angad was about to get injured when a few logs from the burning wood were bout to fall on him. Sahiba who noticed this, pushed Angad to a side and even held his hand when he was about to fall. In the brisk movement that happened, Angad hit his hand against a plate filled up with sindoor. The sindoor fell on Sahiba’s head, covering her hairline totally. Angad made a big scene of it and told Sahiba that she wantedly tried to get close to him and touched him. Angad and Sahiba ended up in a big fight wherein Angad left no stone unturned in humiliating Sahiba. Sahiba too gave Angad back with harsh words. At home, Santosh was excited for Seerat’s alliance with the Brar family. However, Ajeet was unhappy and worried about this development. Sahiba came home with the sindoor filled hairline and this shocked her family. However, Sahiba made her family believe that nothing wrong had happened. Seerat took away the savings of Sahiba, leaving her in a spot of bother.
