We have crossed one more milestone this week, with us getting into the New Year 2022. We put together the major happenings from your favourite shows over the last week.

Anupamaa, the Star Plus show produced by Director’s Kut saw many twists over the last week with Malvika (Aneri Vajani) staying with the Shah family. Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) was unhappy with the fact that Malvika transferred a huge sum into her company’s account where Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey) could access it. Malvika invited the Shahs and Anupamaa for Christmas party. Malvika also asked Anupamaa to accept Anuj’s offer of marriage. With the lavish Christmas party organized at the Shah house, Bapuji and GK asked Anupamaa to marry Anuj. Malvika too wanted to convince Anupamaa for marriage. The week ended with Anuj asking Anupamaa whether she will marry him. Also, Anupamaa was shocked to see Anuj opening up on a big secret, that he was adopted by the family of Malvika and him not being the real son of the house. Anuj also transferred all of the business and money to Malvika. Anupamaa was shocked seeing all of this happen before her.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the week, how Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) got the piece of paper which was proof enough to Akshara saving his life when there was a fire breakout. However, he did not see it. On the other hand, Aarohi was tense as she felt that the photo would ruin her chances of marrying Abhimanyu. Later, Abhimanyu and Akshara (Pranali Rathod) got stranded as the bridge connecting two roads that lead to the city gave way. This forced them to stay together for a while. When Aarohi (Karishma Sawant) got to know that Abhimanyu and Akshara were together, she was not happy. Akshara and Abhimanyu who got into a cottage, had a drink which gave them an inebriated feeling. In their semi-conscious state, they were seen dancing to Roop Tera Mastana music and also confessed their love for each other. The week ended with Abhimanyu asking Akshara whether they should stealthily get married.
Kundali Bhagya, the Zee TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms saw over the last week that Preeta (Shraddha Arya) returned to the Luthra house to safeguard her family, especially Mahesh from Prithvi (Sanjay Gagnani). On coming home, Preeta told Prithvi and others that Mahesh had transferred the power of attorney to her name, which made her the rightful owner of everything. Preeta also told the Luthra family that she was back for money and not for anyone’s love. However, when Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) got to know of Preeta being back, he was happy. Rakhi wanted to ask Preeta whether she is back to save them, but Preeta was not ready to divulge any information. Meanwhile, Prithvi told Sherlyn that he was planning to kill Preeta. Preeta on the other hand was very sad on seeing the shocking state of Mahesh and vowed to avenge Prithvi for all that he had done.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms saw Taarak Mehta being caught red-handed by Anjali when she had proofs in the form of videos and pictures of him eating junk food outside home. Anjali prepared the best of food for dinner which Taarak enjoyed. However, on the next day, she served him with bittergourd pudding which he refused to have. Anjali then opened up the news of her knowing of his junk food habit. Taarak refused to stick to the diet plan forced on him by Anjali and threatened to leave home too. Taarak later got to know that it was Goli who took pictures of Taarak binging on fast food. Anjali however, protected Goli and asked Taarak not to fight with him. Meanwhile, Taarak started hallucinating about bitter gourd after stamping on them. What will happen now?
Udaariyaan, the Colors show produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment saw Fateh (Ankit Gupta) staying back at the place where Tejo was, after seeing Jasmine (Isha Malviya). Fateh followed Jasmine and got to know that she was plotting to ruin the happiness of Tejo (Priyanka Chaudhary). Fateh encountered Jasmine as she was about to harm Tejo. Jasmine was shocked on seeing Fateh there, and felt bad that he was trying to save Tejo. Jasmine told Fateh of separating Riya from Angad and Tejo’s lives. Fateh went to Riya’s nani’s house to tell her the truth when the Nani told Fateh a bigger truth about Angad being obsessive in love, which only meant that Tejo was not safe with Angad. Fateh also trapped Jasmine in her own plan when he went before her in a Sardar getup. Later, Angad orchestrated an accident upon himself in order to stop Tejo from going to her house. With Angad being ill, Tejo took care of him which made him happy. At the end of the last week, viewers got to know that stunning real face of Angad which showed that he could be highly obsessive and possessive about what he wanted. Also, Fateh got to know that Tejo was not engaged to Angad. Tejo got to know that Fateh and Jasmine were not married.
Meet, the Zee TV show produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions saw the moment wherein disturbances got created between Meet (Ashi Singh) and Meet Ahlawat (Shagun Pandey) with the presence of Manushi between them. Manushi utilized the moments when Meet Ahlawat was alone and played the sympathy card by apologizing to him. Later, Meet Ahlawat asked for Meet’s help to forget Manushi. The two of them readied for the Christmas party wherein Meet Hooda wore the gown given by Babita. The two of them shared a close moment. At the Christmas party, Meet and Meet Ahlawat indulged in a passionate and romantic dance that made Manushi jealous. She spiked Meet’s drink and when she got unconscious, she put her in a box and dragged it to the terrace. However, by accident the box with the trolley got pushed and fell down. Meet’s life was in danger when Meet Ahlawat found about it and saved her life and took her in his arms.
Ziddi Dil Maane Na, the Sony SAB show produced by Sunshine Productions saw Sid (Kunal Karan Kapoor) and Kundan (Angad Hasija) meeting at the dhaba and exchanging talks about their love life. While Kundan’s thoughts were about getting materialistic pleasures for his girl, Sid felt that love and love alone was enough to prove. On the other hand, Sanjana was upset as she started to think more about Sid and missed him when she did not meet him. On the other hand, Monami (Kaveri Priyam) tried to move away from Karan (Shaleen Malhotra) when he tried to talk to her. Sanjana got a call from Kundan who wanted her to meet him. Sanjana went to meet Kundan and his mother. Their thoughts failed to match which worried Sanjana more. Finally, Karan decided to express his love before Monami. At the party, Karan decided to talk to Monami and even saved her life as a chandelier was about to fall on her. Just when Karan was about to express his love for Monami, there was this entry of another guy who came between Monami and Karan. Monami was surprised and happy on seeing him. She danced with him too.
