Today being the first day of the new week, we put together the major happenings from your favourite shows over the last week.

Anupamaa, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week that Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) was worried over the wellbeing of his sister Malvika (Aneri Vajani) as she was getting too close towards Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). With Malvika expressing to Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) that she liked Vanraj, Anuj got worried for his sister. On the other hand, Vanraj and Malvika attended a business meeting after which they were in different thoughts on whether to take up the new project in Mumbai or not. While Vanraj wanted Malvika to accept it, Malvika had her doubts. At Anuj’s place, he was worried and Anupamaa chose to take him out to change his mindset. The two went out on a cosy date wherein the two of them were playing badminton. Anuj was about to fall off the cliff, and Anupamaa saved him and hugged him. When Anuj questioned Malvika over her closeness with Vanraj, Malvika openly questioned Anupamaa’s closeness with Anuj. When Anuj talked to Vanraj about moving away from Malvika’s partnership, Vanraj came up with the dirty idea that if Anuj and Anupamaa move away from their partnership, he will also do so. This prompted Anuj to transfer all of his property to Malvika, but Anupamaa did not support this as she knew that Vanraj will take advantage of the whole mess now.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw more problems happening in the life of Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) and Akshara (Pranali Rathod) with both their families being angry at their behaviour and decision. Akshara decided to put forth her resignation at the Birla Hospital and did so too. On the other hand, Abhimanyu got into a new problem with Anisha calling him. While the real identity of Anisha seemed to be a mystery, the audiences sure had their shock when Anisha met Abhimanyu at a cafe and talked about her wrist and that she did not have anyone else apart from Abhimanyu. They also talked about the problem that got created two years back when the Birla family met Anisha. Anisha refused to meet up with the Birla family, and Abhimanyu promised to offer all the support. Aarohi saw Abhimanyu with a girl and even Kairav saw this sight. Both of them warned Akshara, but she was confident of Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu wanted to tell Akshara about Anisha, but could not say so. The last week’s happenings in the show also saw Abhimanyu putting forth his resignation letter at the Birla Hospital.
Kundali Bhagya, the Zee TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms saw Mahesh Luthra recognizing his family for the first time after years. Meanwhile, last week also saw Prithvi (Sanjay Gagnani) planning to kill Preeta (Shraddha Arya) during Lohri. Preeta got injured after which Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) took special care of her. On the other hand, Natasha tried getting close to Karan. Karan on the other hand, did not reciprocate her feelings but wanted her help to make Preeta jealous during Lohri celebrations. However, Natasha had her own plan against Karan. She wanted to get close to Karan and break his relationship with Preeta. During Lohri, the family was happy to see Mahesh dancing. Karan was happy when he was called to dance with Preeta. However, Natasha ruined it for him when she came in between and spoiled their dance. But Srishti was there to ruin Natasha’s plan. Srishti also sounded out a warning to Prithvi. Prithvi later got a coconut shell like bomb to put Preeta to rest. During Lohri, while Prithvi wanted to use the bomb against Preeta, Karan and Preeta had a close moment.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms saw Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) being asked by Babita to help out her friend in getting a good mobile. Jetha promised to do so. Jetha got happy as his company bagged a huge deal. When Jetha was happy, Bagha called him to call him to the godown as there was something wrong. Jetha panicked and took the help of Bhide and Sodhi to reach the godown. However, Bagha on Jetha’s arrival told them that there was nothing wrong with the deal and that he just wanted Jetha to come quickly. Purush Mandal decided to celebrate Jetha’s success with a party, at a place which has been kept secretive from Mahila Mandal and Babuji. At the meeting, Subu Bhai wanted a fair commission to strike the deal. Jetha refused to pay him and said that he will not do anything that is wrong. However, it so turned out that Subu was the owner of Wow Enterprises and he was checking Jetha’s loyalty. So with Jetha bagging the big deal, party time is called for by the Purush Mandal. The party happened at the godown where all come down. They had good Rajwadi chai and nashtha.
Udaariyaan, the Colors show produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment saw over the last week a huge drama with Jasmine’s (Isha Malviya) atrangi wedding happening. While Tejo (Priyanka Chaudhary) and Fateh (Ankit Gupta) had a tough time handling the developments in their lives, Fateh asked Tejo not to be around during the wedding and also not to see them again as she will be pained. However, Tejo went to the Gurudwara on the day of the wedding to pray for a miracle. And so the miracle happened!! The wedding of Jasmine happened after Jasmine called Tejo to the wedding venue and humiliated her. Amidst Tejo’s crying scenes, the wedding of Fateh and Jasmine happened. But when the time came for Jasmine to remove the Sehra, she was shocked to see her dulha to be Amrik and not Fateh. It was revealed that Amrik planned the whole thing by adding sleeping pills to Fateh’s juice. Without anyone’s idea, he hid Fateh and took his place as the groom. Jasmine behaved badly with Amrik once the truth was out. However, Amrik opened up to Fateh and his family that he wanted to save Fateh from Jasmine’s wrath. Amrik in an emotional sequence united Fateh and Tejo and asked them to be happy together. While the Virk family praised Amrik for his big sacrifice, they were also worried for him as Jasmine will ruin his future and make him a scapegoat for life.
Meet, the Zee TV show produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions saw the sisters Manushi and Meet Hooda (Ashi Singh) getting ready for the big challenge of winning Meet Ahlawat’s (Shagun Pandey) heart. While both of them started to make kheer, Meet Hooda ultimately made tea and won Meet Ahlawat’s heart. Later, Meet Hooda and Meet Ahlawat challenged to defeat the other. However, Meet Hooda made a muffin and Meet Ahlawat liked it. Meet Ahlawat made Meet Hooda promise him that they will be together. They challenged each other, while Meet Hooda wanted Manushi to get to the front seat while Meet Ahlawar drove his car, Meet Hooda was challenged by Manushi to get a gift from him which would be a night suit. But Meet Hooda found it difficult to tell Meet Ahlawat about the gift she wanted.
Balika Vadhu 2, the Colors show produced by Sphere Origins saw Anand (Randeep Rai) and Anandi (Shivangi Joshi) strive hard to finish the work of the big order that they have got. However, Ishana spiked the drink of all the staff members including Anandi which made them inebriated. Even in her semi-conscious state, Anandi did finish working on the consignment and finished it. Ishana however, did not want Anand and Anandi to submit the order, and decided to burn them off. But it was Jigar who saved the consignment from burning and called for her at the right time. Anandi managed to save her dresses. Anandi got a hint of someone not wanting her to continue and do well in the business. Ishana again made a plan to make Anand hers. She pretended as though she was with Anand in his room. Ishana made another plan to get Anandi locked inside the storeroom so that she wanted to spend the night with Anand. But Ishana got locked instead in her own plan. Ishana on getting out of the room blamed it on Anandi. Anandi protected herself before Ishana. Jigar on the other hand started to get better. He wanted to tell Anandi that it was Ishana who burnt the design. Anand decided to make Anandi lead the new deal that came across. Ishana pretended to have a sprained leg to avoid the ramp walk. It was up to Anandi to become the model. However, Ishana had planned a wardrobe malfunction. Anandi came dressed in the amazing outfit but was not aware of it being tampered with. Anand spotted the outfit giving way and tried to protect Anandi. Anand called Anandi aside and tried to cover up her tearing dress. Anandi added an extra accessory to her outfit thus covering herself up while giving it a glam look. The last week ended with Jigar getting seizures owing to the medicine that Ishana gave him.
