Anupamaa, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week a major drama breakout with the Shah family getting to know about Bapuji’s illness. The last week started with Anuj and Vanraj’s huge confrontation wherein Vanraj asked Anuj never to come in between his kids and him and take the place of their father. Anuj promised Vanraj that he will not be a father to his kids till the time he stayed away from causing problems for Anupamaa. When the sangeet was happening, Bapuji’s fear came true when he fainted after feeling uneasy in his chest. The family worried about his health and called for the doctor. They also got hold of his medical report which gave them a clear idea of Bapuji needing heart surgery. Anupamaa was shattered knowing about Bapuji hiding his illness from her. She asked him to get admitted, but he remained adamant that he will go ahead with surgery only after seeing Anupamaa’s marriage. The wedding festivities continued after Bapuji was restricted in his movements. The Haldi of Anuj and Anupamaa happened in style wherein both Anuj and Anupamaa applied haldi on each other.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut saw over the last week the wedding of Abhimanyu and Akshara getting completed. With the kanyadaan time coming, Akshara gave the honour to Kairav who willingly came ahead to do her Kanyadaan. Abhimanyu and Akshara took the pheras as the families explained to them the meaning of their marital vows. Akshara had an emotional bidaai and feared that she might not live up to the expectations of the new family. When the newly weds reached the Birla house Manjari opened the door for them but there was no such happiness seen as the entire family had gone for an emergency at the hospital. Akshara had an emotional breakdown when Abhimanyu too had to leave her soon after marriage and attend an emergency case in the hospital. Later, when it was time for Akshara’s pehli rasoi, she made Sabudana Kheer which the family members did not like. This further made Akshara sad. Post that, Akshara was privy to a fight between Abhimanyu and Harshvardhan when Manjari was insulted by her husband. Abhimanyu later told Akshara that he and his father do not get along well.
Kundali Bhagya, the Zee TV show produced by Balaji Telefilms, saw Preeta collecting all the proof needed to save Karan in court. However, Prithvi attempted a car accident in which both of them got hurt and fell unconscious. With Prithvi and Preeta regaining consciousness, Preeta took a rod and hit Prithvi on his head and escaped with the evidence. Preeta got successful in reaching the court on time. She talked about how Prithvi used Sandesh to trap Karan in the false charge. The Luthras got shocked on hearing Preeta’s statement in court. But Preeta got shocked to know that she did not have her evidence. Natasha later entered the court and she used Preeta’s evidence and proved that Karan was innocent, and framed Sandesh with another man. The Luthra family was happy with Karan coming out. But all of them were angry with Preeta’s accusation in court on Prithvi. Karan packed Preeta’s bag and asked her to leave his room. Preeta pointed fingers at Natasha for stealing her evidence. But Natasha did not budge and refused the claim.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the Sony SAB show produced by Neela Telefilms saw Bhide and Madhavi gearing up to go to a mall for shopping. This idea attracted all the ladies of the Gokuldham Society and all of them urged their respective husbands to come with them to shop. Meanwhile, the postman entered the Society with a notice to hand over to the Secretary. While Abdul tried to call Bhide and other men, he could not get anyone’s line. When Jetha came over there, he asked the postman to give him the notice. But the postman denied it. Later when Bhide arrived, the notice was given to him. The notice read that the residents needed to be careful as work was happening on water pipes. Popatlal got happy when he got a call that a girl named Pratiksha liked his profile and wanted to meet him. Though Popatlal could not see her photo, he was happy. However, he dropped his phone and damaged his screen. He was on his way to Jetha’s house to urgently ask for a spare phone to which he could transfer his sim. He dashed against Bhide and Abdul and scattered a few important papers. Popatlal went to Jetha’s shop to get a phone where Jetha asked him to buy a new phone. On buying the new phone, Popatlal was eagerly waiting for Pratiksha’s call. Later Pratiksha’s father called Popatlal and asked him to meet him. Tapu Sena gave Popatlal the idea of wearing a designer outfit in yellow, and they decided to shop for it. Popatlal asked all in society to wear yellow outfits. Popatlal went to every house in the society to convince them to wear yellow.
Udaariyaan, the Colors show produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment saw Angad making his plan to kill Tejo. However, Tejo relied on him and stayed with him, only to get to know that he was a bit problematic. Tejo met Fateh who told him about Angad being the main culprit. Angad tried to kill Tejo in many instances but failed. Meanwhile, it was an emotional reunion for Tejo with Fateh, Amrik and Jasmine. They were all happy to get her back. Amrik called his mother and told her about Tejo being alive and all of them being together. He promised his mother that he will get Tejo back. Hell broke loose when Angad got to his notorious best and shot at Tejo. But Amrik came in the way and took the bullets. Fateh and Jasmine hurried Amrik to the hospital where the doctor told them that he would not survive for long. Amrik breathed his last telling Fateh and Jasmine how much he loved them. With this being an emotional turmoil for both Fateh and Jasmine, they were not able to control their tears. Fateh got a further setback when Tejo told him about her journey of being in jail to the time when she was released and was asked to join police force in order to nab Angad Mann. She disclosed to Fateh that while Tejo was dead, she was Tanya Gill.
Meet, the Zee TV show produced by Shashi Sumeet Productions saw Rajvardhan coming as the mystery man to take the pen drive. Meet Hooda got a shock on seeing him. She refused to believe that Rajvardhan killed her father. Rajvardhan however was hiding the fact that his brother Ram had in fact killed Ashok, and was now trying to plead to him to keep him innocent. The police arrived at the Ahlawat house to arrest Rajvardhan. Meet took special care of Rajvardhan in the police station by feeding him. Later, she wanted to break open the security code of the locker at home, but was stopped by Meet Ahlawat. She tied him up and opened the locker and got proof. She got to know that it was Ram who was Ashok’s killer. She confronted Ram and he confessed his crime.
Fanaa – Ishq Mein Marjawan, the Colors show produced by Dipti Kalwani saw Bulbul faking an accident and getting a direct entry into the Raichand house. She managed to cover her face up and did not show her face to Meera. However, Bulbul’s blackmailing tactic forced Meera to keep the girl at home as a maid. Bulbul became a good friend of Agastya and even celebrated his birthday without Meera’s knowledge. However, when Meera got to know about it, she threw Bulbul out of the house. However, destiny brought Bulbul back to the Raichand house, this time as a dancer. The biggest twist happened when Meera saw Bulbul’s face and understood that she was Pakhi’s lookalike. Meera asked Bulbul to stay with her for three days as part of a deal for which she will offer huge money. At home, Bulbul started to dominate Meera and even asked her to cook.
