Bollywood actor Sitaram Panchal passes away

Senior actor Sitaram Panchal passes away...

Senior artiste from NSD, Sitaram Panchal is no more!!

The brilliant performer who hailed from Haryana, known for his vast body of work in films Slumdog Millionaire, Bandit Queen, Peepli Live, Paan Singh Tomar etc had been suffering from lung cancer and high sugar levels.

The talented actor who had a huge personality and physique had gone very weak and fragile in his fight against illness. Recently, a lot of NGOs and personnels in CINTAA had given the actor great support in terms of finances to help him with his treatment.

Even pictures of Sushant Singh, Honorary Secretary, Cine and Television Actors Association with a happy and smiling Sitaram was put up on social media few days back after the actor got discharged from hospital..

The biggest irony is that Sitaram and his wife celebrated their 26th marriage anniversary yesterday. A happy family picture clicked yesterday is up on social media too. And this morning, he breathed his last. Sitaram Panchal was 54 years old. He leaves behind his wife Uma Panchal and son Rishabh Panchal.

We hear that the entire fraternity is presently paying homage to the departed soul.

We contacted Amit Behl, senior actor and Joint Secretary of CINTAA who was on his way to Sitaramji’s house when we called him. He said, “Sitaramji or Situ Bhai as we all fondly call him, has been a very fine actor, a great human being, a person with a great sense of humour, and great commitment to work. We lost a friend, a philosopher. I think all his contemporaries, seniors and juniors are going to miss him. May God give him peace and give his family the strength to bear with this loss. We even as colleagues will miss him. We knew that he is going through a serious health issue, but never thought his going away will come so soon.”

IndianWikiMedia.com prays for the departed soul. Our condolences to his family and his friends from the industry…
