Actress Kritika Sharma who made her comeback on TV with Thapki Pyar Ki has bagged the lead role in Star Bharat’s next!!
Recently, IndianWikiMedia.com wrote about the big news of Iqbal Khan playing the lead role in Writer and Producer Ved Raj’s first solo venture with a differentiated concept. (If you have missed it, read it here – IWMBuzz).
We had in the same report mentioned about Kritika being short-listed to play the female lead.
A credible source now tells us, “Kritika has bagged the lead role and is on board the show. She will play the girl opposite Iqbal.”
Kritika has earlier been part of shows Jai Shri Krishna and Tere Liye. In Thapki Pyar Ki, she played one of the daughters of Thapki.
When buzzed, Kritika remained unavailable.
We reached out to Producer Ved Raj and the channel spokesperson, but could not get them to comment on our story.
