#Coronavirus Scare: Not 19 March, shoots to STOP immediately

The lockdown of the entertainment sector which was to happen from 19 March has been preponed, and there has been an order released to end shoot by tonight (17 March). .

This has happened after Hon. Mr. Aditya Thackeray, Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Environment, Govt of Maharashtra has instructed that all shootings in any format shall be stopped as soon as possible.

In the conversation that Thackeray had with Chairman – TV and Web, J.D. Majethia, he has informed that official communication to the broadcasters will be sent soon.

The decision of winding up shoot has been taken after a con call that happened with the broadcasters, that all shoots will be closed down soon.

As per our source, “All producers are requested to wind up their shooting by tonight, or else it can have legal implications.”

As we know, the various bodies had met for an urgent meeting last weekend and had decided to close down shoots from 19 March till 31 March. They had also decided to meet again on 30 March to discuss the situation again.

All these steps have been taken owing to the mass #Coronavirus scare that has emerged all over. This has resulted in revoking the earlier communication to stop shoot from 19 March 2020, and the decision now taken is that no shoot will happen from tomorrow (18 March) onwards.

As this is a matter concerned with safety and health, the instructions have to be followed and adhered to, with the efforts taken by the Government to combat the COVID 19.
