Talented Creative Personality Imran Mir has come a long way, from coming to the land of dreams Mumbai from Kashmir, to working his way in the glamour world!!
Imran who did his schooling from the Army School, Srinagar, the only fully functional school amidst unrest in the valley of Kashmir has done his Masters in Mass Communication from Symbiosis, Pune.
His initial break in the media was courtesy MR. Raj Kaushal as he got the opportunity to be an assistant director in films and ad films.
However, he worked his wonder in the TV industry when opportunity came knocking at his door through an opening in Balaji Telefilms. There was no looking back as he joined as the Associate Creative Head for Kahiin Toh Hoga, and later became the Creative Head and Creative Director in the smae organization.
Says Imran, “It was a great journey with the Czarina, Ekta Kapoor. Having launched many shows for various GECs, Balaji Telefilms became a home away from home and all the credit of learning about TV and more happened from Ekta Kapoor and it continues till date.”
Currently, Imran works as a setup Creative Director on a GEC show but has bigger plans to move ahead in life and work on his own shows as Producer.

Imran Mir has opened a production house in Canada by name ‘Synchron Entertainment Ltd’ and has shot a full length Indo-Canadian film too.
He states, “It is a feature film titled ‘Rabia and Olivia’. The editing process of the film is on. There are many bigger plans in mind. Life has given me a lot to be thankful for, but the zest for life and the passion to create and the never-say-die attitude pushes me for more.”
