Star Plus’ Meri Durga (Paperback Films) will see a last minute replacement.
Swaragini fame Parineeta Borthakur who was to enter the show as the male lead Sanjay Prince’s mother (Paras Kalnawat) has been replaced.
Taking her place now will be the senior actress Dolly Sohi.
As per sources, “The reason for replacement seems to have come from the fact that Parineeta has had a personal tragedy which does not allow her to shoot for the next few days.”
As reported earlier by Indianwikimedia, the character of Prince’s mother is supposed to be a sophisticated lady, a Kingmaker with a negative shade.
We buzzed Parineeta but could not reach out to her.
Dolly Sohi confirmed the development.
We also reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get any revert.
