Ekta re-posted a video of Sayantani responding to Radhika’s comments. She penned this, “Sad and shameful actors have no respect for their roots Kudos @sayantanighosh0609.”
According to Hindustan Times, Radhika recently recalls spending 48-50 hours each shift as a TV performer. She said that anytime she requested the script, she was told, “Aap set pe chalo, script garma garam aa rahi hai.” She claimed that directors used to make last-minute changes and that whoever director was available would come to shoot. Radhika also stated that if she had anything to say regarding her role, the director assured her they would consider it when they made a film, not a TV series.
Sayantani Ghosh’s Interview With RJ Siddharth Kannan
Sayantani Ghosh responded to the interview on Instagram and was recently asked about it in a conversation with RJ Siddharth Kannan. Sayantani Ghosh stated, “We also have Mouni Roy, she is a dear friend of mine, and in the interviews I have listened to, there is a certain grace that she began her career from TV, that I didn’t find in Radhika’s clip. She and many others look down upon TV, you shouldn’t do that, I feel. My problem is don’t treat TV as a stepping stone.”
Various TV stars flocked to the comments section to demonstrate their support for Sayantani Ghosh. Anita Hassanandani commented on that interview, “Well said .” Karanvir Bohra commented, “Well said @sayantanighosh0609 what she said wasn’t wrong, but the way she said was demeaning ….. @radhikamandan you should have been a Lil more sensitive about this…aapko kya lagta hai, filmo mein aibe nahi hai?” Divyanka Tripathi wrote, “Sayantani I completely agree with your views and admire the way you have addressed the issue..”
