Actor-turned-politician Hema Malini, the BJP candidate from Mathura, has registered a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. This is her second victory from Mathura. She had contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 from the same constituency.
As per reports in the media, Hema Malini won the constituency with an impressive margin of more than 1, 50,000 votes over her nearest competitor.
In her run-up to victory, Hema Malini defeated RLD’s Kunwar Narendra Singh, the Mahagathbandhan nominee, and the Congress’s Mahesh Pathak.
