Esselvision Productions, the company which has given the TV viewing audience a taste of reality shows like SaReGaMaPa and Dance India Dance will now work on two major fiction series.
As already reported in media, Esselvision will be coming up with the new-age Hum Paanch, the story of the intellectual and crazy family with five girls which was a runaway hit in the 90s, then produced by Balaji Telefilms. Hum Paanch Phir Se, is likely to be on air in May on Big Magic.
We at Indianwikimedia.com have also learnt that Esselvision is presently working on another big-budget show, which will be the remake of the successful Tamil show, Vani Rani.

Vani Rani will be the story of two twin sisters, who would be contrasts in terms of thought process, educational proficiency and even financial statusquo, yet will stand united to overcome the problems of their family.
The Tamil series which was aired on Sun TV was a huge hit with actress Radhika playing the double roles. The series was produced by Radhika Sarathkumar’s Radaan Mediaworks.
Now coming to the cast of the Hindi version, National Award winner actress Tanvi Azmi has been locked for the prime role as per sources. As for Tanvi, she excelled in the TV show Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka years back and has also been part of shows Mirza Ghalib, Kahkashan, Zameen Aasmaan, Lifeline, Family No. 1 on the small screen.
On the big screen of course, the actress has a huge body of work and some of the noted movies she’s done includes Pyari Behna, Darr, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Mela, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Aurangzeb, and her National Award winning act in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani.
Vani Rani, the Zee Networks project is slated to be commissioned for & TV, is what we hear as of now. As per the information got, senior actress Neena Gupta was the first choice for this role, and talks were on with her for a long time. However, the deal did not happen and that is when the equally talented actress Tanvi was offered the role.
