Jamai Raja the popular television drama series which was launched in the year 2014 was heralded as one beautiful success stories that rightfully blended romance, drama and comedy in a well-knit plot. The show saw the emergence of the great onscreen chemistry between Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma. The show was produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwini Yardi’s Grazing Goat Pictures. The original season had a great run followed by its next season Jamai Raja 2.0 that aired on ZEE5. Now, the big news is that Zee TV will soon bring a fresh take to the show, with a new script and cast.
Yes, Jamai Raja is said to be in the working now, is what we hear. We at IWMBuzz.com also hear exclusively that the show in its newest season will be produced by Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD. Producer Prateek Sharma has ongoing shows Rabb Se Hai Dua on Zee TV, and Suman Indori on Colors at the moment.
Also, the news that we have got is that popular actor Abhishek Malik, who was last seen in Kumkum Bhagya, has been finalized to play the new lead. His noteworthy shows on TV include Chhal – Sheh Aur Maat, Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, Bhagyalaxmi, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Pinjara Khubsurti Ka, Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho.
As per a reliable source, “Jamai Raja will have a new concept this time around. The story is more likely to revolve around the male lead who will be a Bawarchi (cook).”
