Actress Simran Tomar who played the lead role of Chikoo in Star Plus’ show Chikoo – Yeh Ishq Nachaye, will soon be back on our TV screens. She associates yet again with Producer and Writer Nilanjana Purkayasstha for her new show. As we know, Nilanjana’s Invictus T Mediaworks produced Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei, which got to be renamed as Chikoo – Yeh Ishq Nachaye after its leap. Nilanjana and Herumb Khot will associate once again under the banner Invictus T Mediaworks to come up with a show on Sony TV. This show will be special as it will be the first solo production venture of the banner.
Simran will play one of the lead faces in the uniquely conceptualized show. The show which will air on Sony TV will be about a girl who will move out of the comfort of her own house and find a family for herself in the big world outside. The show’s underlying theme will be of friendship.
Reports of Megha Ray being finalized to play the lead role have been doing rounds.
As per a reliable source, “Simran Tomar has been roped in to play the lead’s closest friend and her new family.”
We buzzed Simran but did not get through to her.
