CID the iconic cop drama show which was a very important part of the programming lineup of Sony TV for many years, will soon be back. CID which was on air for nearly 20 years, from 1998 to 2018, will soon be back with fresh cases and a brand new concept. As we know, Banijay Asia will be producing the show in its new season. The channel dropped a huge update recently when they revealed that there will be a big promo drop happening on 26 October!!.
Media is rife with the news of CID going on the floor in November, with the show being launched during Christmas week in December. The show has been part and parcel of the childhoods of many viewers, and there is excitement seen at the announcement.
The announcement also confirmed the presence of the trio – Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava reprising their roles.
Now, we at IWMBuzz.com have heard of talks happening with many past actors who have been part of the cast of CID.
As per a reliable source, “Apart from the main three actors, a few of the actors who have earlier been a part of CID have been approached. Ansha Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, Narendra Gupta and a few others are being approached with talks happening presently.”
It is to be seen who among the old cast of CID will make it to the new season.
