Senior versatile actress Nimisha Vakharia who was heralded for her silent portrayal in Sony SAB’s popular show Tenali Rama, will soon be seen reprising the role of Lakshmi Amma in the new season of the historical comedy drama show that will launch in December this year. As we know from the promo that has been released, Krishna Bharadwaj will reprise his titular role of Tenali Rama. Pankaj Berry will play Tathacharya in the news season also.

We now hear of Nimisha Vakharia being back in the role of Lakshmi Amma. As we know, Lakshmi Amma had taken a pledge that she would never talk. She used only the sign language to denote whatever she was trying to say. Her portrayal of the mute character was appreciated by one and all.

As per a reliable source, “Nimisha will be yet another actor who will be getting back to the show. Most of the actors playing the prominent characters in Tenali Rama received immense popularity and the makers have brought a few of them back.”

We buzzed Nimisha and she told us, “Yes, I am back as Amma in Tenali Rama. I am so excited to come back to the show I have loved the most. People always say that I win their hearts with my dialogue. This was a special show where I did not have any dialogue, yet I won people’s hearts. So yes, amma is back with laddoos and lathis. This character came to me as a challenge where I had to perform without saying anything. I have done it and won the love of people. Now I am back again, and hopeful of getting all the love from audiences again.”

“I share an amazing chemistry with Rama, which the audience loved. We both loved performing with each other. I am so happy that I am back with that chemistry with him and we are really looking forward to Season 2,” she averred.
