Bigg Boss 18 is underway and as seen in the premiere episode, it has assembled quite a mix of contestants to look forward to from all facets and careers.

There’s always a domination of TV actors coming in and a part of that lot is actor Nyra Banerjee, who has also made a mark for herself on the web.

In an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, Banerjee opened up on how she manifested this to happen, staying true to her reality and truth, the one thing she won’t do & other things.

Q. Finally, the manifestation to go in the Bigg Boss house has worked, right?

Nyrraa- Finally, I guess everyone’s manifestation worked and I am in the Bigg Boss 18 house. I am very happy and excited but also tense and nervous. I just feel good that so many people have faith in me, I thank everyone for that.

Q. How do you want your journey in the show to look like? How would you like people to perceive you?

Nyrraa- I just want to follow my truth. I want to be the person, when I see things clearly and if I see something is wrong very clearly, I want to take a stand. I will try to not give in to weakness. In fact, when you know you’re right and you have stood with the right, it gives you a certain amount of confidence, which is so fantastic. In this Bigg Boss journey, there will be plenty of chances where I will have to remind myself to stay true and right, and when you do this continuously for three months staying inside one house, it will change your life.
Of course, there will be several times when I will feel vulnerable and questions will be raised on me, and I might even be schooled – this happens in real life, and will happen here as well. But I will try to stay true to my reality and not be weak.

Q. Just like is the case with Bigg Boss, there will be plenty of times, gangs will be made for the right or wrong reasons. At that time, what will you follow?

Nyrraa- Just sticking to the truth because truth prevails. If I side with a gang and they are wrong, wouldn’t I look weak? I will look stronger when they will see that even if I am standing alone, I am right.

Q. Two strong actresses and others as well are going in the house. There’s always an assumption that will lead to catfights. What do you have to say about that?

Nyrraa: I genuinely don’t understand this why is this an assumption that just because two actresses are together, they will fight? That’s not true. It all depends on how the connection is made or not made – actresses can be friends too. If you are honest and real, even if a person doesn’t like you, they will start liking you. I feel friends are earned, not made.

Q. What is the one thing you won’t do no matter how worse or how crazy things get?

Nyrraa- I won’t abuse it because that’s not my style. People abuse these days left, right and centre but that shows their class. I can’t be a part of that and I won’t be abusing.
