Popular actor Sehban Azim has been away from television for a while now after Spy Bahu. It looks as though Sehban is on the verge of making a comeback to TV as the leading man. We at IWMBuzz.com have received information that Sehban Azim has been in contention for the male lead of Colors’ new show Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann.
Yes, you heard it right!! The 4 Lions Films and Katha Kottage collaboration show will see Aditi Sharma in the lead role. The story is of a young girl who aspires to become an astronaut. The story plot will depict her journey from childhood, wherein she shows her keen interest in learning all about the Universe, space and galaxies. The show has noted actor Sandeep Baswana playing the father of Apollena who has termed to be a traitor. Apollena aspires to achieve her personal goal of becoming the country’s first female astronaut and brings laurels to her father’s image too.
We hear that the leading man for the show opposite Aditi Sharma has been under a massive search process. Many popular actors were auditioned and tested for the role. However, the news that we have received is that Sehban Azim has been in contention to bag the male lead in the story.
As per a reliable source, “Sehban has recently given his mock test for the lead role in the show. However, there is yet no confirmation on him being locked.”
If this comes true, Sehban, we hear, will be playing a very different character, and will be the love interest opposite Aditi Sharma.
Sehban Azim is known for his work in projects Dill Mill Gayye, Humsafars, Dil Dosti Dance, Silsila Pyaar Ka, Bepannaah, Tujhse Hai Raabta etc.
