Versatile actor Vishal Nayak has bagged a double whammy and will be seen in two equally powerful roles on TV!! Vishal who was part of the first season of Atrangii’s Parashuram will be back on the show in its second season. He will reprise the role of Mahadev in Season 2.
In addition to this, Vishal will be seen playing the role of Pawan Dev in Dangal’s Jai Hanuman Sankatmochan Naam Tiharo.
Vishal will be seen in both shows very soon and has started his shoot for the same.
When contacted, Vishal confirmed the news to IWMBuzz.com, saying, “I did Parshuram 1 as Mahadev. And they approached me again for Season 2 as the channel liked my work and look. They loved the chemistry between Shiv and Parvati.”
Elaborating on the importance of this role, Vishal avers, “I played Mahadev for the first time ever. So being a Shiv bhakt, this was a blessing for me. Portraying Mahadev in the show made me quite nervous and I was always on tenterhooks as I didn’t want to go wrong. I wanted to do justice and offer my prayers by portraying him as close as possible. It took me many days of meditation and concentration to get into the role of Mahadev. But the experience is sublime and heavenly.”
“When I was offered Pawan Dev in Jai Hanuman Sankatmochan Naam Tiharo, I was happy and ecstatic. This was also a new arena for me. But since I have done history shows before it wasn’t difficult for me to play Pawan Dev,” he explains.
“Before this, I did two social shows and then 2 historical/ mythological shows. So I feel happy that I can experience all formats and genres of TV shows,” he concludes.
Vishal was last seen in the &TV social drama Ghar Ek Mandir.
