From Swami Om To Sajid Khan: Controversial Contestants Of Bigg Boss

Check out a list of controversial contestants of the Bigg Boss house

Bigg Boss and its controversies have always made headlines more than any season’s winner. We all have been great fans of Bigg Boss since it started and the host Salman Khan gives us more reasons to love. Over the years we have witnessed some controversial stars in the house. Today, we list down the most controversial contestants of Bigg Boss

Swami Om was a Bigg Boss 10 contestant. His sexist remarks annoyed the housemates, and he became embroiled in numerous controversies. He has eventually kicked off the series for his strange and unusual behaviour. He had thrown his pee on co-contestants Bani J and Rohan Mehra and vindicated his actions by claiming that they were mixing his food with drugs and that when he committed this he was food-drugged. He accused host Salman Khan of being an ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) agent.

Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sajid Khan was in the news in 2018 when female celebs accused the director of sexual harassment and dragged his name into the #MeToo movement. He has been accused of sexual assault allegations, which include flashing his private parts at parties, asking female actors to send him their nude pictures as part of the casting process, and watching po*n in front of women. Ever since Sajid was announced as a contestant on Bigg Boss season 16 at the premiere on October 1, several celebrities have taken to social media to object to the decision.

Monica Bedi, who was a part of Bigg Boss season 2, made headlines due to her affair with Abu Salem. She was arrested with Abu Salem by the Lisbon police for entering Portugal on forged documents. They served a jail sentence in Portugal. On September 29, 2006, an Indian court convicted Bedi of passport forgery and procuring a passport under a fictitious name. Further, in November 2010, the Supreme Court of India upheld her conviction but reduced the jail term to the period that she had already served.

Bigg Boss 6 participant Imam Siddique was the biggest controversy creator in the Bigg Boss house. Apart from his tall claims of “making stars” out of Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and the like, he even claimed to have lent money to Salman and said that he never paid him back.

Zubair Khan, who was a part of Bigg Boss 11, made headlines during his stay for his foul language and was even warned by Salman. It was also reported that he was related to Mumbai’s underworld.

Dolly Bindra was known for her ‘aggressive’ attitude. Dolly was a part of Bigg Boss season 4 and she fought with almost everyone on the show.

Sunny Leone, on the other hand, had done nothing controversial. However, it was a surprise to the audience in 2011 when a former pornstar was cast in Bigg Boss season 5. Nevertheless, the actress impressed everyone with her appearance on the show and managed to win many hearts.
