IndianWikiMedia is privy to exclusive information that on the Day 8 of the FWICE strike, a delegation of producers and broadcasters met the hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and briefed him on the scenario.
A highly placed source informs to us: “Delegation of Producers and Broadcasters led by Punit Goenka (Zee TV), JD Majethia (Hats Off), Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms), Shyamashish Bhattacharjee (Shakuntalam), Nitin Vaidya met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today evening. They apprised him of the situation in entertainment industry arising out of threats & intimidation by group of handful of leaders, their supporters. They requested him to provide security to workers who are willing to work and maintain law and order. He promised all help in this regard.”
