Aishwarya Sharma, the popular actress, who plays the role of Patralekha in Star Plus’s popular show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has tested positive for COVID-19. Recently, her fiancé Neil Bhatt who plays ACP Virat Chavan in the same serial had tested positive for the virus.
Aishwarya and a crew member who are a part of the TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, have tested positive for COVID-19. Both have received medical attention and quarantined themselves. The BMC has been informed and the sets have been fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol.
The producer of the show, Rajesh Ram Singh was quoted saying to a leading new publication: “We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to. The show’s shooting was stalled for a few days and will resume on Monday morning.”
The two actors Neil and Aishwarya fell in love during the course of the shoot and the two started dating in October last year. They also had a Roka ceremony at the actress’s hometown, Mahidpur (Madhya Pradesh), in January this year.
