Giant Academy of Media and Entertainment, the Delhi based company which has been producing short films, features films and web-series will be the premise that will lay the perfect foundation to your acting dreams!!
This will be the first Academy of its kind that will impart knowledge in acting to aspiring candidates. The Academy will first address the acting craft as there is a dearth of professionally equipped actors in the industry. Also, the biggest USP of the Academy is that it will offer employment to the top five candidates of the annual batch.
The Academy is being mentored by the three eminent industry personalities – Amit Behl, Suneel Sinha and Vrajesh Hirjee. Senior theatre actor from Delhi, Avjit Dutt and Amitabh Srivastav, from NSD will also be part of the Academy.
Says Amit Behl, Director and Mentor in the Academy, “The USP of the Academy is to bring in working professionals from TV, films and web space to impart knowledge to the students. The Academy will offer employment and also opportunities to showcase talent on the theatre platform. The top five from the year’s batch will be given a chance to feature in the films, TV shows and web-series made by the Company. Also, all the students of the final acting batch will get to perform on stage in a professional theatre production helmed by eminent theatre directors; the plays would travel across the country giving a chance for these individuals to showcase talent.”
Amit Behl also tells us that the recent induction sessions were ably supported by the presence of senior actors Ayub Khan, Sushant Singh, Maninee De Mishra and Jaya Bhattacharya.
The next induction session to happen on 21 July will have Kabir Sadanand, Ridhi Dogra and RJ Mantra imparting knowledge to students.
