Balika Vadhu the earlier long-running show produced by Sphere Origins on Colors, which dealt with the social issue of child marriage will soon be back with a fresh new season. It has been a known fact among the masses that the new season will have a brand new story relating to the main theme of the show. It will also have a totally new cast, is what we have been given to understand.
IWMBuzz.com was the first to break the news of Balika Vadhu coming up with a new third season.
The first season of the show ran for as long as eight years. The show took a leap which was earlier considered as Season 2.
News coming to us at IWMBuzz.com is that though the pace at which work would have happened on Balika Vadhu’s new season in a normal scenario has lessened owing to the restrictions of the shoot in Maharashtra, the casting process is surely on and the channel and makers are in the process of finalizing the main cast.
We have the exclusive news of Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega fame Rashmi Gupta having bagged one of the main characters in Balika Vadhu’s new season.
Rashmi who is a talented actress played the role of Saraswati in the popular above-mentioned Zee TV show. Rashmi has in recent times, been busy with the medium of web, with series Daulataganj and Murder Meri Jaan, the Hotstar series.
We buzzed Rashmi Gupta, but did not get through.
We reached out to Producer Sunjoy Waddhwa and the channel spokesperson but did not get any response till the time we filed the story.
