Harveer Singh quits Sony SAB show Maddam Sir

After a three-month wait for his role to get meatier, Harveer Singh has quit the Sony SAB show, Maddam Sir. The show as we know is produced by Jay Productions.

The actor, who plays Usmaan on the show, says, “Today, I feel like a cheated man. Before entering the show, I was promised a lengthy and pivotal role. However, it turned out to be a supporting character. I still decided to give it time and waited for three months for Usmaan to be promoted as one of the main characters. But, after that, I lost hope and I decided to quit, as I don’t want to be part of a show just for the sake of it. I am here to do good work.”

The ‘Jijaji Chhat Per Hain’ fame actor further adds, “This should not happen to any actor, it’s very unprofessional. But yes, at the end of the day, Sony SAB is like a second family to me. So, I have decided to leave on a positive note, and am very much open to the idea of collaborating with them in the future.”
