Anshul Trivedi who plays the role of Khimji Bhujaria in Colors’ Balika Vadhu 2 has quit the show, and will not be continuing as Anandi’s father post the generation leap.
As we know, Shivangi Joshi of fame Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been chosen to play the grown-up Anandi in the Sphere Origins show. Randeep Rai will play the role of Jigar while Samridh Bawa will play Anand.
Anshul had an amicable talk with the channel and makers post which he has moved out of the show, is what we hear.
We buzzed Anshul and he told us, “Balika Vadhu 2 has been a fulfilling experience. I am glad to have been one of the faces of the show till now. My best wishes to the new team. I am certain that the new cast will also be loved by the audience. I am thankful that our producers Mr Sunjoy Waddhwa, Mrs Comall Sunjoy Waddhwa and the channel chose me for the portrayal of the key part in the second season of this iconic show. I will not be continuing playing Khimji in the show as the story is taking a generation leap. I wish our paths cross once again in good times in future.”
