IN10Media Network’s new GEC Ishara: Progressive streak running strong in its shows

The new GEC Ishara has launched its first band of shows that are relatable and are deep-rooted to Indian values.

The year 2020 has given the entertainment sector a big jolt with the pandemic scare pulling down the momentum of the ever-booming work on the medium of TV, web and films. The New Year 2021, however, has started with the ray of hope that perseverance is the key to success, and this has created new work opportunities on all platforms. However, the biggest news which is indeed motivating to the core is the emergence of a new GEC channel. IN10Media Network has launched its general entertainment channel Ishara – Zindagi Ka Nazara amid really good buzz. The shows have been opened up for masses from 1 March. The channel is available on major DTH and cable networks.

The channel’s name (Ishara) brings about a positive outlook and has a ‘desi’ essence to it. The stories are about the very important Indian values that bind families together. They are also about our great mythology and get us in sync with the values and sentiments that we need to adapt and imbibe for a happy living. Also, the very announcement of a new GEC channel is a refreshing thought, with the Indian Entertainment Industry not having seen one in recent times. And when all the shows put up in the first lineup on Ishara are progressive to the core, it really means viewers can look forward to a wider range of concepts to watch from!!

The channel has also come up with the right blend of genres and stories as part of its initial programming lineup.

The programming band of Ishara starts with the divine concept of Paapnaashini Ganga at the 7 PM band. The tale of River Ganga and her purity is a very interesting tale, never captured before on TV. Coming from Peninsula Pictures, the production house which has recently mastered in mythological presentations, the show has a likable cast in Aakriti Sharma, Ashi Singh, Siddharth Vasudev, Gungun Uprari and others. The production value of this show is extremely good and the tale is endearing to the masses.

Janani produced by Hats Off Productions is about the homemaker, the mother who is instrumental in nurturing a family with all good values and hopes. Spearheaded by ace actress Supriya Pilgaonkar, Janani will relate to every middle-class household wherein the parents forget themselves and get busy by giving their children their much-needed comforts. The show will take us through an emotional journey of a mother and will surely herald and speak highly of the divine creation, called ‘Mother’. This show airs at 7.30 PM slot.

Agni Vayu brings the element of love. It is a love story that dwells within the other contrast emotions of hatred, lack of trust etc. The show has Gautam Vig and Shivani Tomar playing the lead roles. This will be a show that will connect the youth more. It airs at the 8 PM band and is produced by Keylight Productions.

Humkadam is the story of many progressive women who strive hard to achieve what they have set to attain. Humkadam has a stellar cast that includes Gurdipp Punjj, Perneet Chauhan, Bhumika Gurung, Karan Arora, Lakshay Khurana and others. This family cum romantic tale airs at the 8.30 PM slot and is produced by Juggernaut Productions.

The best part about the ongoing Ishara content is that all four shows have a repeat telecast the same night, with the airing happening between 9 PM to 11 PM band.
