Given the Covid 2nd wave lockdown, the shoot of TMKOC had limited actors and only after the lockdown and restrictions were lifted, we saw shooting happening like before with a full crew. But Munmun Dutta was missing and she is yet to join the cast.
Ever since then, speculations started about whether Munmun has quit the show or not, especially after her casteist slur controversy. Well, finally, we give you clarity on this.
The producer of the show Asit Modi was quoted by E Times commenting,
“Munmun Dutta continues to remain part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Babita ji. Any rumours about her quitting the show are baseless and incorrect.”
