Prateek Sharma’s banner LSD Films has started work on its next interesting concept, which will be a Muslim social drama.
Titled Sufiyana Ishq, this presentation on Star Plus has been picking up pace and will be the channel’s one of the biggest launches in the coming months.
Rajveer Singh and Helly Shah will play the leads in the show.

We now hear of Kashish Duggal Paul known for her performances in Vishkanya, Hello Pratibha, Mooh Boli Shaadi etc, playing a crucial role.
As per a reliable source, “Kashish will essay the role of Rajveer’s mother in the show. Kashish will be paired opposite Siddhaanth who will play Rajveer’s father. Senior actor Ram Gopal Bajaj will play the grandfather of Helly. Kashish’s character will be of a gorgeous looking Pakistani Punjabi lady. She will have an accent that of a Punjabi even though she will be a Muslim.”
We buzzed Kashish but could not get through to her.
