Kunal who charmed all hearts as the new generation lead of Diya Aur Baati Hum was to play the lead role, that of a rough and tough guy in Writer turned Producer Zama Habib’s upcoming show for Star Plus.
But Kunal seems to have been replaced just before the commencement of shoot!!

News coming in is that Kunal is out of the show owing to certain creative reasons. The hunt for the male lead for the show is presently on.
As per a reliable source, “Actor Navi Banghu who was last seen in Suryaputra Karn in all likelihood seems to be the actor who would be signed on to play the male lead in the show.”
Banghu as we know, as been part of shows Amrit Manthan, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai and Suryaputra Karn.
When contacted, Kunal told us, “Yes, it is true that I am not doing the show of Zama Sir. I was very keen and excited about the role and was eager to work with him. But things did not work out eventually. But I would love to work with him one day.”
As reported in media, the untitled show will be made under the new banner formed by Producer Zama, Qissago Telefilms. Newbie Bhumika Gurung will play the female protagonist in the show.
Let’s hope better things make way for Kunal, and here’s hoping that Bhangu bags the role!!
