The television industry has been facing shock waves since the last week with some shocking revelations. From Karan – Nisha’s case to now witnessing actor Pearl V Puri’s case who was accused for raping/molesting (not confirmed yet) a minor girl and was allegedly arrested by Mumbai police last night.
This created a rage in the Bollywood industry with celebrities like Ekta Kapoor, Vikas Kalantri, Krystal D’Souza , Anita Hassanandani, Aly Goni and many others came out in support of the star putting down the news and calling it absolutely rubbish, it’s a trap, false allegations and #IStandWithPearl.
Now, as per the latest news in Times Of India, Pearl has been sent to 14-day judicial custody by a local court in Vasai. Pearl was remanded to judicial custody and booked for rape and molestation under section of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was arrested by the Waliv police late Friday evening under IPC section 376 AB, r/w POCSO Act 4, 8, 12,19, 21.
