Kartik Purnima the Star Bharat show produced by Sanjot Kaur’s Rolling Pictures revolved around the life and journey of Purnima, a dark-complexioned girl.
The show which had Poulomi Das, Harsh Nagar in lead roles was a realistic concept with a lot of appeal. However, the ratings, unfortunately, did not come in, and now with the lockdown phase posing a threat to the economy of the entertainment industry, the buzz is that Kartik Purnima will be scrapped and will not return.
Our inside sources maintain that “The show will go off air and will not return when normalcy sets in. The channel has had a word with the Producer and team regarding it. The actors too are notified of the same.”
We buzzed Producer Sanjot Kaur for confirmation but did not get revert.
We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get any response.
As we know, the high-budgeted show Nazar on Star Plus has gone off the air. Shows Beyhadh 2, Patiala Babes, Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein on Sony TV will not return. Dil Jaise Dhadke.. Dhadakne Do on Star Plus will not return.
Kartik Purnima on Star Bharat now adds to the tally of shows closing down.
