Neha Bhasin shoots for &TV’s Love Me India despite running a high fever

It has been rightly said that no amount of pressure or sickness can ever defeat the dedication and passion of an artist towards their work. While an actor’s dedication towards their work despite their illness is often spoken about, a singer’s ability to sing her heart out, despite a sore throat is something we don’t hear of every day. Well, this is possible only with the ever energetic and bold voice of the Indian music industry, Neha Bhasin, who not just swept everyone with her voice, but also encouraged many younger kids to sing likewise. The singer who got the nation tapping with several high voltage songs has been on a roll ever since her debut as a judge on &TV’s Love Me India. With a sheer passion for music and a keen eye for talent, the elegant judge refused to allow even sickness to take a toll on her energy.

In a recent episode of the show, Neha vibrantly encouraged the contestants with her groovy dance moves to their soulful tunes, despite feeling frail due to high fever. During the short show breaks, Neha was seen taking sips of warm water that were constantly brought to her by the team. Not only did the singer wisely judge the young talents’ performance, but also ensured she entertained her audiences with her vivacious nature and a melodious voice as well. Rumour has it that the singer has been constantly shuffling between Mumbai and Delhi attending to her ill father’s needs, coming back over the weekends only to put across a power packed performance for her beloved viewers.

“I have always believed in committing myself completely to my work and while my health is surely a prime concern, I ensure it never comes in way of my work or cause any kind of loss to anyone,” said Neha in a slightly groggy voice. Adding further, she said, “I was running an extremely high fever prior to the shoot yesterday, but considering our episodes are live I decided to put my illness behind and put my best foot forward like I usually do. Undoubtedly, it is pretty difficult to sing when your throat doesn’t permit you to, or when your energy is at an all-time low. In my case, my passion for work has always overpowered any negative energy within me and hence even in such extreme conditions I manage to bring out the best side of me. All in all, I am glad the episode went really well, and although I have a packed schedule for the week, I’ll make sure to get enough rest and take some time to heal.”

We can just hope that our leading lady returns soon to the best of her health and gives us yet another energetic performance next week.
