Talented actor Neha Marda who has enthralled audiences with her powerful portrayals in shows Balika Vadhu, Doli Armaanon Ki and many more will soon be back on the TV screens!!
IndianWikiMedia.com has received information that the actress is all set to get on board a meaty project to be produced by Rashmi Sharma Productions.
With this show, ace Producer Rashmi Sharma will soon be back with a new show on Channel Star Plus after her successful reign with Saath Nibhana Saathiya. The popular show had a run of more than seven years.
Now, Rashmi is all set to bring in a very differentiated concept, that of the life of a s*x worker.
The project which earlier held the working titles ‘Tawaif’ and ‘Meena Bazaar’ is now being called ‘Muskaan’.
Long ago, the pilot of the show was made for Star Plus. However, there have been reports later of the show seeing light on Colors.
But now, we have received information that the concept will certainly beam on Star Plus.
A credible source tells us, “Though big names like Hina Khan, Tinaa Dattaa, Mahhi Vij were shortlisted earlier for the title role of the tawaif, it now looks as though pretty damsel Neha Marda is on verge of bagging the role.”
We hear that Neha though has not signed her contracts yet, looks keen on playing this powerful and challenging role.
Reports coming in suggest that this show of Rashmi Sharma will be the next big fiction launch on Star Plus. The show is likely to beam sometime in March.
