The gloomy days of TV lockdown might be on its way out.
After Color’s started airing fresh shot episodes, there is news that channels are preparing to launch new shows as well.
After SAB TV’s show, Hero Gayab Mode On, KBC 12, now Star Bharat has just announced its latest fiction offering Hum, helmed by Mahesh Pandey Productions.
The channel has just dropped a cute, feel-good video on social media featuring the cast.
As per sources, this remake of popular Tamil show, starring Hiten Tejwani and Parineeta Borthakur in the leads was initially supposed to go on air in April itself, but the nationwide lockdown put paid to all plans.
“We had even wrapped up the initial outdoor Uttar Pradesh schedule, ” quips our source.
The plot revolves around the consequences of the breakdown of the epoch Indian family structure. Sonal Vengurlekar, Rinku Karmakar and Aditi Deshpande etc complete the main cast.
The channel is planning a launch press conference which ideally will take place after the lockdown (if does not get extended).
“We hope to go on air within a month of set opening-up as we need to increase our episode bank before the telecast. All necessary social distancing protocols ensuring the safety of cast and crew are in place,” further added our informed source.
When asked to hazard shoot date the source murmurs, “Well everything depends on the lifting of lockdown and opening up of transport as our set is in distant Naigaon.” ended the source.
Our attempt to touch base with the channel spokesperson, Hiten and Parineeta all came to naught.
