Not Vishal Aditya Singh, Vidyut Xavier to play the male lead in Sony TV’s Dhadkan

Vidyut Xavier will play the male lead in Sony TV’s medical drama show, Dhadkan.

Sony Entertainment Television is looking at some new concepts to give the channel the further push needed in its fiction programming line-up.

Dhadkan, the medical drama show will be one such which will garner eyeballs in the coming time.

The show will be produced by Sony’s in-house banner Studio Next (earlier produced Scam 1992) and Nilanjana Purkayasstha’s banner Invictus T Mediaworks.

Producer Nilanjana has earlier given the TV viewing audience interesting shows like Chandragupta Maurya, Bajirao Mastani, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji etc.

Reports in media suggest that Additi Gupta has been roped in to play the female lead in the show.

As per the news we have got at IWMBuzz.com, Vidyut Xavier who has been part of the direction team of Dabangg and Dabangg 2, will play the male lead. On TV, the young lad has been part of shows Mahabharat, Pavitra Bhagya, and 24. Media reports suggest that Vishal Aditya Singh is to play the male lead. However, we have gotten to know that he is not the final chosen one (owing to date constraints).

We buzzed the actor but did not get a response.

We reached out to Producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha, and the channel spokesperson but did not get a revert.
