Talented and versatile Parineeta Borthakur has bagged her next meaty project post her stint in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani!!
Popularly known for her mature love tale in the role of Sharmishta in Colors’ Swaragini, Parineeta will soon be entering the show, Meri Durga on Star Plus.
The above-said show produced by Ravindra Gautam and Pradeep Kumar’s Paperback Films has very recently taken a generation leap with actors Srishti Jain and Paras Kalnawat taking centrestage as the leads.
Now, the male lead, Sanjay Prince’s family will be introduced soon!! And Parineeta has been roped in to play the mother of Prince.
As per sources, “Parineeta will play a very powerful character, of a lady who would be very aristocratic. She will always want to dictate her terms, and will be a larger than life persona when it comes to her characterization. She will have a grey shade to portray.”
When contacted, Parineeta refused to comment on this piece of information.
We buzzed Producer Ravindra Gautam, but did not get to hear from him.
Parineeta was recently seen essaying the negative lead in Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
