There is euphoria and excitement as Balaji Telefilms’ popular and long-running show Kumkum Bhagya is all set to take the generation leap in the weeks to come!!
Well, with the leading ladies to play Abhi (Shabir Ahluwalia) and Pragya’s (Sriti Jha) daughters being finalized with Splitsvilla fame Naina Singh and popular actress Mugdha Chaphekar being roped in, the hunt for the boys to be cast opposite them is presently on. Naina will play the role of Rhea and Mugdha will essay the other twin, Prachi.
News coming in is that Roadies and Puncch Beat fame young actor Krishna Kaul has been roped in to play one of the leading men in the post leap phase in Kumkum Bhagya.

As per sources, “Krishna who was recently seen in the super-successful ALTBalaji and Vikas Gupta series Puncch Beat in the role of Roy Malhotra has been given the nod by the channel and Ekta to play the new generation male lead on the show.”

As per the ongoing plot, Abhi and Pragya are hunting for their kidnapped daughter Kiara (Kaurwakee Vasistha) all over. Pragya has given birth to twin daughters. Before the leap, Abhi and Pragya will part ways with Abhi having one daughter while Pragya shifts base to Punjab with the other daughter.
