Popular actress Rashami Desai will be back on the TV screens with an interesting Doordarshan show, which will be based on the concept of Swachh Bharat.
Rashami who will portray the lead protagonist in the finite episodes series titled ‘Aao Saaf Karein’, wherein she will see through the lens of Mahatma Gandhi and notice that the place we live in is filled with dirt and filth.
The 26-episodes series will have various celebrities gracing it with special performances wherein every episode will dwell on a tale that will harbour around the basic concept of how we can keep our surroundings clean.
While Rashami will be seen in all the episodes, there will be various actors who will make their presence felt playing interesting roles.
The cast of the series includes Anita Raj, Upasana Singh, Raghuvir Yadav, Rakesh Bedi, Himani Shivpuri, Gopi Bhalla and Monica Meena.
Every episode will give out a special message, of keeping our Nation clean.
As per a reliable source, “Raghuvir Yadav will play a detective who will condemn the habit of urination on roads. Anita Raj will play a Maharani will will urge her people to keep the place clean by indirectly asking them to search for her priceless necklace which has got lost. Upasana Singh will play herself wherein as a celebrity she will refuse to perform at a place because it is unhygienic. Rakesh Bedi will play the role of an army guy who will be very disciplined and will want cleanliness around him.
The series will be directed by Arunesh Bhope.
