Hina Khan who started her career in the saas-bahu drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has come a long way. Right from being the simple girl Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to being the badass and villain Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, we can see how the acting and fashion, both evolved over the years passing by.
After breaking stereotypes, she also showed us that she is not as simple as her on-screen character Akshara. She participated in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss and even made some memorable statements. Due to her professional engagements, she had to withdraw her role back from Kasautii Zindagii Kay or else she would have still made us watch the show, right?
In an interview when asked Hina Khan how she got selected for the show, she said that she got selected from Delhi. She was studying and one of her friends told her about the auditions for Yeh Rishta. Then the makers auditioned her in Chandigarh and other cities and then called her at Delhi to give another audition.
Also, Hina Khan added that she never learned acting before and also never faced a camera before. She just got selected and came here. Then Rajan Shahi told her to come and get a couple of looks tests. Right after that, the channel liked her and she got selected.
Actually, Hina Khan wanted to become a journalist but all of sudden, she auditioned for acting, and here she was ready to play the role of Akshara Maheshwari and the fear of facing the camera was on cloud 9. But she overcame and here she is slaying!
